The Dry Irish Stout have now been bottle conditioned for two weeks, I have tried a bottle and the results are in.
This is the second beer been brewed by BlueIguana Home Brewery and there are some lessons been learnt.Like the Trappist Monks I am going to schedule three weeks for bottle carbonation not two as is recommended by the instruction in the small batch kit.After the three weeks carbonation I will cold crash the brew in my refrigerator for another week to achieve some amount of clarity.
This four week conditioning will also enhance the flavor profile of the beer.I have not achieved significant head retention on the two beers I have brewed thus far , the Red Irish Ale and the Dry Irish Stout.I now know for sure that Home Brewing is beer schooling.
